The hotel was special, it had welcoming staff at the reception desk. I've had well-appointed and spotless room with a king size bed, ashtray. Enjoyed boiled eggs and hot waffles at breakfast. The location was magnificent on the river. Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Vicksburg.

I appreciated that the Vicksburg National Military Park was less than 2 km away, making it perfect for a scenic stroll, and I enjoyed my short walk to the Biedenharn Coca Cola Museum which was also close by for a taste of history and culture.

The front desk staff displayed an really good level of kindness during check-in. The cleanliness was concerning, with visible grime on the floor and outdated, dusty furniture scattered around. The TV was inoperable, displaying snow on all channels, which detracted significantly from the stay. Although the refrigerator functioned well, the overall experience was disappointing.

Staying at econo lodge was a pleasant experience. The king room was comfortable and perfectly accessible. I especially appreciated the great water pressure in the shower. The towels were white, soft, and absorbent. Plus, it's very close to parks with fascinating siege features.
